Animals getting help from people.
I am a huge animal lover and to see this kind of compassion towards animals is so fucking heart warming.
I lost it at the mama kitten and the squirrel

Hello yes have you heard of Equestrians.
I am reblogging this again because it is so fantastically accurate!
Other people: I ride bareback to strengthen my legs and connect with my horse
Me: I ride bareback because I’m too lazy to tack up

Not just the arab circuit, morgan circuit too >.<
Looks like there’s some little stacked shoes creeping in there too…
Normally I’d say benefit of the doubt but those are some tightly cranked draw reins, I’m kinda surprised if that horse can breathe, stacked shoes (those sizes aren’t bad but I just hate the principle of them), rider looks braced (I don’t know are you supposed to ride like that in saddle seat?) and she says she likes the picture so clearly that’s normal/wanted riding and horse position?
TWH practices starting to creep into other circuits now? Someone care to explain?
It always comes back to pointing fingers at walkers. Every. Damn. Time.
None of what goes on in the Arabian circuit can be blamed on the TWH in my opinion. It’s the circuits as a whole, wanting to change the breed to make more “flashy” and has gone on for a while in all of them. It isn’t the influence of the TWH circuit.
Yeah, what Bridle-less said. It’s been going on for a very long time and is seen in other breed shows such as Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackney Ponies, and as seen here the arabian horse world. I’m sure more breeds do it too. Most of the riders do look braced, it’s not a relaxed looking discipline. The TWH industry is not to blame at all. People just point fingers at the walkers because it’s the most common thing the horse world talks about and it’s normally all the bad stuff cause people are dumb and usually have no idea what they are talking about, which leads to giving false facts to someone. This isn’t a “TWH practice” This is a saddleseat in general practice.
Seriously, this crap needs to stop! How about working to build a bond with the horse & asking rather than forcing?
